ABAHR was formed in 2010 as the Asian Association of Hampton Roads, In August 2012 it became the Asian Business Association of Hampton Roads to further define its role as a business organization

ABAHR's board of directors and general membership consist of business and community leaders of difefrent faiths and backgrounds from all corners of the greater Hampton Roads region of Virginia
ABAHR's mission includes
the continued leadership development of our Board of Directors and our General Membership through communication of leadership workshops and events as well as conducting our own workshops and providing opportunities for individuals to take up leadership roles within the growing organization.
